I felt the need to do just one more woo-hoo for Virginia. I had too many perfectly pastoral images to not share them with you. Here's yet again one more photo run-down:
1: Part of the reason that I love driving is the fact that it gives me the liberty to pull over my car anytime I please to snap a few photos. I saw this just after I crossed over the Virginia stateline. I thought it looked as if it was just asking someone to take a picture of it.
2: Speaking of pulling over the car, on my way back from Blacksburg I passed this overlook while driving to Mountain Lake. I had to get a photo of the foggy valley below.
3-4: These photos were taken at a farm where the archeology group was conducting work. I absolutely loved visiting that place. So much history.
5: This is one I forgot to post earlier. Oh, Chris and Christian. These two fellas are so much fun. The nicest folksI think I'll ever meet. I miss them already.
6: Our entire camp of folks hiked to this waterfall on our second day of the fieldweek. It was absolutely worth the two mile trek.
I awoke this morning craving Sufjan Stevens, so I posted one of his videos below. He and his music are just beautiful.
Hello again, Mr. Weekend. Enjoy!
